BANISHING AND CLEANSING RITUAL

Point your Athame at the sky, and then at the earth. Then pointing Athame horizontally
either spin 360 or walk around the perimeter with the Athame held out in a threatening manner.

Spirits of evil, Unfriendly beings
Unwanted guests, Be gone!
Leave us leave this place, leave this Circle,
that the Goddess and the God may enter.
Go, or be cast into the outer darkness!
Go, or be drowned in the watery abyss!
Go, or be burned in the flames!
Go, of be torn by the whirlwind!
By the power of the Mother and the Horned One
We banish you! We banish you! We banish you!

Sprinkle the perimeter with salt and water.
This is from "witchy little secrets".

NOTE: Warning since I have done some clearing. Be prepared for a fight. they are usually not happy to comply. There may be retaliation so be protected with spells and knowledge, don't try it alone for the first time and never without knowing just who you are dealing with. People can be hurt and even killed by spirits who notice you.

A SPELL FOR BREAKING KARMIC CONTRACTS WITH PEOPLE

A SPELL FOR BREAKING KARMIC CONTRACTS WITH PEOPLE                                                                              (so they don't continue to play the same detrimental roles in your further incarnations.)

On parchment or some other nice quality paper, write in red ink
(dragon's blood ink, bat's blood would be great too):

(Name) I declare our contract broken.
You no longer have power over me.
Never again will I be your servant, in this life or any other.
(you can use your own words, go into detail about how you feel you've been wronged
manipulated, whatever.)
Sign your name, burn it with a black candle. Get rid of the ashes.

Planetary rulers of the days of the week

"Monday's Child is fair of face,
Tuesday's Child is full of grace,
Wednesday's Child is full of woe,
Thursday's Child has far to go,
Friday's Child is loving and giving,
Saturday's Child works hard for a living,
But the child born on the Sabbath Day,
Is fair and wise and good and gay."
The ancient Babylonians chose to organize their calendar around 7 days of the week, and each day corresponds to one of the seven "planets" visible to the naked eye. [Planets is in quotations because two--the Sun and the Moon--are technically not planets (they're luminaries).

Monday (lundi in French) is ruled by the Moon. "Monday's child is fair of face" might refer to the sensitivity and youthfulness associated with the Moon.
Tuesday (mardi in French)  is ruled by Mars. "Tuesday's child is full of grace" might be more aptly interpreted as full of energy and movement.
Wednesday (mercredi in French) is ruled by Mercury. "Wednesday's child is full of woe" might be interpreted as a person who worries or thinks too much.
Thursday (jeudi in French) is ruled by Jupiter. "Thursday's child has far to go" might thus be interpreted as a person who will travel and learn.
Friday (vendredi in French) is ruled by Venus. "Friday's child is loving and giving" might refer to the Venus nature, that is, a person who is loving and receptive to love.
Saturday (samedi in French) is ruled by Saturn. "Saturday's child works hard for a living" thus might refer to the Saturnine nature which is rather serious and responsible.
Sunday (dimanche in French) is ruled by the Sun. "But the child born on the Sabbath Day is fair and wise and good and gay" might refer to the magnanimous Sun nature.
Astrologers generally pay more attention to the ruling planets in a natal chart. That is, the planet that rules the sign on your Ascendant and the planet that rules the sign of your Sun. For example, if your Ascendant is Aries, Mars is the ruling planet of your Ascendant since Mars is the natural ruler of Aries. If your Sun is in Taurus, then Venus is your Sun's ruling planet since Venus is the natural ruler of Taurus.

Each of the 12 signs in the zodiac falls under Fire, Earth, Air or Water. There are three of each.
The fire signs are: Aries, Leo and Sagittarius
The earth signs are: Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn
The air signs are: Gemini, Libra and Aquarius
The water signs are: Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces

The Sator-Rotas Square

The Sator-Rotas Square has numerous magical properties and is a powerful charm to protect the bearer from evil spirits. Using dragon's blood ink, write the Sator-Rotas Square upon a piece of parchment paper. Carry this charm with you to bring protection from disease and misfortune, it will also bring you strength and power. Where this charm hangs on the wall, no evil can enter.

SPELL FOR FREEZING OUT A WITNESS OR LEGAL OPPONENT

If someone is working against you in a legal matter and you know her name, you can try a freezing spell.
Write her name on a piece of paper (parchment is good) in pencil or India ink (preferably).
Fold the paper in half, then in half again until you can't fold it any more.

As you do this, imagine her influence freezing / stopping, that she cannot do anything until the thaw.
Then put the liquid below* on the paper and put it into a corner of your freezer.
Leave it there for 30 days. Start this on the waning moon.
It should stop her from influencing people or things about your business. It freezes her out.

Freezing liquid
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon of one or more of the  herbs below

Agrimony
Use in all protection sachets and spells, also to banish negative energies and spirits It protects against goblins, evil and poison Agrimony has also long been used to reverse spells sent against the magician; i.e. it not only breaks hexes, it also sends them back to the hexer. Agrimony placed under the head will make one sleep as if dead, according to ancient lore, but don't use this for insomnia: the sleeper won't awaken until the herb is removed.

Burdock
Cast around the home to ward off negativity. Add to protection incenses and use in such spells. Gather burdock roots in the waning Moon, dry and then cut them into small pieces. String these on red thread like beads and wear for protection against evil and negativity. The leaves of the burdock, when laid to the soles of the feet help to cure gout. .
Cascara Sagrada
Sprinkle an infusion of casa sagrada around your home before g to any court proceeding. It will help win your case. Cascara sagrada is also use in money spells, and worn as an amulet against evil and hexes.
Chicory
Chicory is used to remove all obstacles that might crop up in your life. It is carried for this purpose. At one time it was thought to make its possessor invisible, and to open locked boxes and doors if held against the locks. But for these last two purposes, chicory has to be gathered with a gold knife in perfect silence at noon or midnight on Midsummer. If you anoint your body with chicory juice, you will obtain favors from great persons. It is also carried to promote frugality.
St. Johnswort
Worn, St. John's Wort wards off fevers and colds, makes soldiers invincible, and attracts love. If it is gathered on Midsummer or on a Friday and worn it will keep mental illness at hay and will also cure melancholy. When placed in a jar and hung by a window, St. John's Wort protects against thunderbolts, fire and evil spirits. Both flowers and leaves are used for this purpose. It is also dried over the Midsummer fires and hung near the window to keep ghosts, necromancers and other evil doers from the house, and is burned to banish spirits and demons. Any part of the herb placed beneath the pillow allows unmarried women to dream of their future husbands. Use in rituals or carry to detect other magicians; at one time it was held to the mouth of accused Witches to attempt to force them to confess.

"WIN" A LAW SPELL

Perform this Spell at midnight before any court appearance.
Place papers associated with your legal battle on your altar. Place a candle to the right of them.
At exactly midnight light the candle. As the candle burns brightly, study the flame closely.
When it is burning brightly, clearly and steadily, stare into the flame.                                                                                      Place your writing hand on the papers and visualize the result that is wanted. Then Say:

"Rash Of Mithra, Hear Me!"
"My Cause Is Right and True"
"Influence the Powers That Judge"
"I Ask This Boon Of You."

Walk 3 circles to the right, sit down again, lay your hand on the papers and stare into the flame.
The flame will be moving. When the flame steadies again, say:
"Rash Of Mithra, I Thank Thee Floor Thy Aid Against...(Name Opponents).
Extinguish the candle and turn on the lights, pour the wax that has melted onto a piece of plain
paper, and fold the paper in half. When it has cooled, place it under your pillow for the night.
In the morning write Rash Of Mithra on it and keep it with you during the day.
After the case is settled, destroy it.

Monday was named after Mani– the Germanic God of the Moon. It is, however, contrary to the modern Wicca beliefs as most of Wiccans regard the Moon as a female deity. It is a good day to execute spells concerning dreams, the home, intuition, spiritual growth and healing.

Monday belongs to the Moon. Monday's energy best aligns itself with efforts that deal with women, home and hearth, the family, the garden, travel, and medicine. It also boosts rituals involving psychic development and prophetic dreaming.

Aurora's Chicken Pepperoni

Today the land is still, as the freezing rains fall across the snow, making travel stand still while the road men try to fight mother nature. How stupid is that, no one fights mother nature and wins. Still they are trying.

Raptor treads lightly as she breaks through the semi solid top layer of ice as she makes her way to her morning potty area. It was hard to get her to come in since (she is a husky) nothing spells heaven to her more than snow and ice. Luckily breakfast persuaded her to at least check out her options, and she returned in wet and cold. After some shaking, and two bath towels, she now lays asleep all curled up beside me as I type.

As with most days of heavy rain or snow I awoke with a headache so I won't be on line long. Tonight is the perfect time to curl up with a funny movie and what could be better than  watching "Seams like old times" and eating Aurora's Chicken Pepperoni. Yum! Since I couldn't find a recipe on line this is the one I created a long while back and my family loves. I hope you will try it.

MAGIC SINUS-CLEARING CANDLE to make

This is a candle you can make easily with household items.
It's good for clearing sinuses, and they say the aloe portion cure colds.
This is an effective form of aromatherapy.
Take a small votive candle holder, enough green candles to melt into the holder,
a large amount of fresh garlic, a spike from an aloe plant, (ask permission first,)
and a handful of cloves. Melt all these into the candle carefully.
Leave overnight for the wax to dry. Then, burn.

So your Brown sugar turned to a brick

I was making the Carrot bread yesterday and when I went to get out my new brown sugar I found an old container of brown sugar in a Tupperware container. Well I guess it doesn't help to put them in Tupperware because it was fine when I put it in but now it is a solid brick. The type you have to attack with a hammer to get any off. So I decided to turn it into a liquid syrup to use in recipes and coffee and tea.

1 solid brick of brown sugar (mine was lt brown)
as much water as sugar (guess-a-mate)

Put in a sauce pan over medium low heat and bring to a boil stirring sometimes until all is liquid then boil on med-low for ten to fifteen minutes until the liquid coats the spoon. Cool and place in a pourable container. I used an liquid creamer bottle.

MAGIC HEALING FLAMES SPELL

Draw a picture of yourself or the one you wish to heal with the disease, wound or condition.
Clearly point out the problem in the picture: a large hammer against the head to
represent a headache; black worms for a virus; a broken limb; a sore.
Charge a red candle with healing energy. Light the candle.
Hold the tip of the picture in the flame. After it's lit, drop it into a heat proof container.
Now, with the red candle still burning, draw another picture of yourself (or them) without
the headache, free of the virus or sore, or with a healed limb.
Place this picture under the red candle & let it burn out. You are done.

Create this animated Stargate Helmet

This one I like for myself. Loved the movie and have this on my list of want to make. darn sad that I have such a long list, something for me always gets slapped to the bottom. Right now there are 4 quilts, 2 afghans, 17 faeries, ghouls, and goblins and the setting they will live in, 4 pieces of jewelry, a doll house, 2 hats, leg warmers, a incredible hulk cape. And for me A full length sweater  and this helmet. Shoot I forgot the medicine bag, 1800's shirt for a man, a poncho,  a chess set, and a full length cape all for the hubby. And I have until Yule, already cracking, 1 afghan half done and another one started, goblin sketches started, supplies being bought.

This was one of my favorite recipes from it. It maybe a bread but it would easily pass for dessert, just throw a drizzle on it. It is so moist and the smell baking brought my hubby running for the kitchen. My kids when they were small use to beg for this bread every weekend. The best part is quick easy directions.
 Makes 1 loaf

1 cup carrots, grated
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 1/2 cup flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoons salt

1 Tablespoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoons ginger

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix egg, sugar and oil together add the rest and bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes in a sprayed bread loaf pan. I used a large one. Next time I will use a regular sized pan

For hundreds of years, the plants that we grow have been used in magic. Flowers in particular are often connected with a variety of magical uses. Now with spring on the horizon, keep an eye out for some of these flowers around you, and consider the different magical applications they might have.
  • Crocus: This flower is one of the first you'll see in the spring, and it's often associated with newly blooming love. The crocus is also known to enhance visions and bring about intuitive dreams.
  • Daffodil: The bright petals of the daffodil are typically found in shades of white, yellow or even pale orange. This flower is associated with love and fertility -- place fresh ones in your home to bring about abundance. Wear this flower close to your heart to draw love and luck.
  • Dandelion: The leaf of the dandelion is used for healing, purificaiton, and ritual cleansing. To bring positive change about, plant dandelions in the northwest corner of your property. The bright yellow flowers can be used in divination, or placed in a sachet to draw good energy your way.
  • Echinacea: Also called purple coneflower, this garden mainstay adds a little bit of magical "oomph" to charmes and sachets. Use it for prosperity related workings. Burn the dried flowers in incense, and use on your altar during ritual as an offering to deities.
  • Goldenseal: This sunny yellow flower is often found growing in the wild, alongside roads and in fields. Use it in money spells, or for business dealings. Work it into charms connected to matters of financial gain or legal issues.
  • Hibiscus: This lusty flower incites passion -- use it to attract love or lust, or for prophetic dreams about your lover. Burn in incense, or carry in a sachet to bring love your way.
  • Hyacinth: This flower was named for Hyakinthos, a Greek divine hero who was beloved by Apollo, so it's sometimes considered the patron herb of homosexual men. Hyacinth is also known to promote peaceful sleep, and guards against nightmares. Carry in an amulet to help heal a broken heart or to ease grief when a loved one dies.
  • Lily: The Easter lily or Tiger lily is associated with all kinds of Spring connections -- fertility, rebirth, renewal and abundance.
  • Narcissus: Named for another Greek figure, the Narcissus helps promote polarity and harmony. Its calming vibrations bring about tranquility and inner peace.
  • Tulip: The tulip appears in many different colors and varieties, but is typically connected to prosperity. You can use the different colored variations in color magic -- use a dark strain such as Queen of the Night for full moon rituals, or bright red flowers for love magic.
  • Violet: In Roman myth, the first violet sprung from the spilled blood of the god Attis, who killed himself for Cybele, the mother goddess. However, today the violet is associated with tranquility and peace. The leaf offers protection from evil, and can be sewn into a pillow or sachet for a new baby. Carry the petals with you to bring about luck and enhance nighttime magic.

Using small balls of yarn to complete a project

1. I use partial skeins to create scarves, hats and baby hats.

2. If there is not enough to do that I will use them as one continuous skein tied together to make a multicolored blanket for the car for over your legs or kiddies on a cold winters day. I use two skeins together to make it doubly warm.

3. Make squares using the same sized crochet hook and same amount of stitches. then just crochet together to create a great block afghan. I just started mine. You can make some all one color and some a combo of colors as you get extra parts of skeins until you have a afghan. Then you can turn them if you want the stitches to go in different directions or make them the same direction for a continuous look.

                     one color

many colors in one square (you can see I need some more bits of yarn to complete)

same direction layout for making a afghan

HEMATITE HEALING SPELL

Hold a Hematite stone, feel it's vibrations and channel healing energy into the stone. Chant:

Stone of Hematite, Stone so black
Give me the healing energy that I lack
Stone of Hematite so wildly bright
Heal me now With the speed of light!

Wolf Moon ~ 27th January 2013

As we continue to stabilize the energies of the recent planetary alignments of 12:12:12 and 12:21:12 be gentle with yourself. You may feel more fatigued than usual, you may be experiencing flu like symptoms, you may feel anxious, restless and seem to be revisiting old anxieties. Other days you may feel blissful, full of hope with clear vision of the next part of your journey. Dreams are more prophetic and we are easily emotionally triggered. This is part of the alignment we are all experiencing internally. With the greater frequencies of light, we continue to shed the past but have not yet created the new dream. Remember these alignments were not intended to be a one-time quick fix, this is a process of continued change and accelerated growth. We as a human species are evolving now at a much higher frequency and are needing to ride the wave of this energy. You need more time for rest, more time for play and certainly more time to experience the beauty of this journey. It is certainly not boring to walk upon this magnificent earth-star but will require commitment and dedication to step forward.

MOONSTONE LOVE SPELL

Supplies:
2 candles (l pink and 1 white), cinnamon,                                                                                                                                                           a moonstone
Place the candles on the alter, the pink one to the left and the white on to the right.
Cast a circle and light the candles. If you have a moonstone, place it on the alter.
Invite the Goddess to join you, for you will be needing her help.
Next, sprinkle the cinnamon in a figure-eight pattern around the two candles.
As you sprinkle the cinnamon, speak these words aloud:

"Oh Great Goddess of the light,
Bring me happiness, true and bright!
May a new love so true come to me!
So mote it be!

Thank the Goddess and close the circle.
Either let the candles burn out, or snuff them out. Do not blow the flam
es out!

CLEAR AWAY THE OLD WITH CRYSTALS

CLEAR AWAY THE OLD WITH CRYSTALS

There are many aspects of our lives which we would like to improve, but we just can't
muster up the willpower. In your time of need, a crystal can come to your aid.
You can program a crystal to help you lose weight stop smoking or overcome any negative
attitudes about yourself. For example, you want to stop eating chocolate but just can't.
You know you should stop for health reasons but you don't have the will power.
Try programming a crystal by telling it something like,
"I have completely lost any desire for chocolate."
Wear the crystal around your neck or keep it in a pocket.
Whenever you want chocolate, touch your crystal and feel the urge dissipate.
To get the most out of your crystal, you need to get the right crystal in the first place.
Pick a crystal by attraction, by being drawn to touch it, and then hold it loosely in your left hand.
Notice the impressions, colors, sounds, and feelings you pick up. No two crystals are the same.
Each crystal has its own unique vibration, and each will resonate differently. It should feel alive in
your hand, vibrate, or radiate. In other words, it should feel good.
Before you use your crystals cleanse it. The easiest way to clean your crystal is to hold it in
the bright sunlight and order it to be completely cleansed. when, program it with your desired goal.
Now, you're ready to enjoy your crystal!
